As a Technical SEO manager, you’ll primarily support the SEO team in the production of technical SEO focused site audits and recommendations as part of wider SEO marketing strategy for clients.

About you

You will be able to evolve and expand your skills in digital marketing, as well build relationships with clients and play a part in developing their organic growth strategies.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing team working across a variety of different verticals and traffic acquisition channels.

We are looking for someone enthusiastic about digital marketing, self-driven, thorough and keen to continually improve with a great attention to detail.

You'll ideally have:

  • strong knowledge of effective technical SEO optimisations and industry best practices
  • experience with 3rd party tools such as screaming frog, Ahrefs, Google Analytics/Search Console, etc
  • experience with site migrations
  • familiarity with website JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React) and how to optimise these for search
  • a broad understanding and collaborative experience with SEO content marketing
  • excellent project planning skills and strategic roadmap development
  • experience with engaging with key client stakeholders ranging from marketing leads to more technical leads such as developers

It would also be great if you had:

  • previous agency experience
  • knowledge of content outreach and back-link analysis
  • presentation production and delivery
  • experience with both e-commerce and lead-gen clients

What you'll do

As a Technical SEO manager in the SEO team you’ll have a varied and interesting range of responsibilities that support the creation and implementation of SEO strategies and digital marketing services to help achieve key client targets and objectives.

Here are some examples of what you can typically expect to do as Technical SEO Manager at Storm:

  • conduct detailed technical audits to identify blockers and opportunities for organic improvements
  • engage with the content marketing, development and UX teams to support in the production of effective information architecture
  • create high quality, priority-based deliverables for client stakeholders
  • review sitemap and internal linking opportunities within client sites
  • investigate site speed improvement opportunities
  • create XML sitemaps
  • support in the production of mobile friendly recommendations
  • address duplicate content issues
  • contribute to overarching account digital marketing strategies across SEO and PPC
  • work on cross-functional teams with developers and other marketing channels

This is a great opportunity to build on your experience within SEO and work with a wide range of digital marketing techniques, channels, and client sectors to help progress your career.

You will be working at home for the moment, and will be provided with a laptop etc. to enable you to interact with clients and colleagues alike plus access to tools such as Slack and Teams.

At least 33 days' holiday

You'll get 29 days' annual leave and 4 public holidays. Once you've worked here for 5 years, you'll get an extra day for every year you work up to 10 years. So you could end up with 38 days' holiday.
