Get to know Lauren

Can you describe in a few sentences what your job involves?

As an Account Executive, my tasks involve managing Storm ID's smaller clients and providing support to my team members on larger clients. I also engage in a lot of internal collaboration with other teams at Storm to scope small projects and pieces of work.

What challenges you most in your role?

Coming from a non-technical background, the most challenging thing for me has been getting up to speed with the language used and understanding the process and work that comes with each project. 

What makes you excited to come to work?

The biggest thing for me is the varying work on different projects, and also getting to work on those projects with great colleagues.

How do you find the work-life balance at Storm?

The work-life balance at Storm is something that I think is handled extremely well. We are fortunate to get the choice of going into the office when we like, or working from home. There has been no pressure to have a hybrid working style if you don't want one, and it is more about being flexible to fit in with your life and how you want to work.

How have you grown at Storm?

The team at Storm are very encouraging and supportive of what you want to achieve. In professional terms, I have been given so many opportunities to learn and to expand my knowledge and skill set. On a personal level, Storm has been crucial in helping my confidence and recognise my potential.

Do you have any hidden talents or interesting hobbies?

I love to cook, cycle and read! Not at the same time though, that would be extremely impressive.
