About the role

As a paid media executive, you will get practical, hands-on experience and training in some of the biggest advertising platforms including Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat ads. You will become well-versed in our unique and proprietary approach to paid media, across PPC, paid social and programmatic advertising and you will help deliver continual improvement in client results. You will also help to define the strategic vision of both our department and our clients.

We are looking for someone enthusiastic, self-driven, keen to continually improve and with a great attention to detail. Ideally, you will be analytically minded and comfortable with data, numbers and live and breathe Excel!

About you

We're looking for someone with a passion to learn and embrace the fast-changing landscape of digital marketing. You will ideally be analytically minded, comfortable with numbers, inquisitive and curious with an enthusiastic and optimistic outlook.

The fast-paced industry and our eager clients keep us on our toes, so it's critical for you to work at pace, and be flexible in your approach. You’ll need to have a curious mind, always looking at things from different perspectives and asking why if you don’t understand. 

Essential skills and experience:

  • a commercial understanding of PPC technologies
  • operational experience in search, remarketing, display, paid social with both manual and automatic optimisations
  • excel data manipulation (knowing your VLOOKUP’s from your SUMIFS)
  • experience with Google Analytics, data wrangling and insight generation
  • reporting and communication

Desirable skills and experience:

  • lead generation and ecommerce account operation
  • Google Academy certified
  • presentation production and delivery
  • an understanding of scripting and coding
  • Google Shopping and Amazon Ads 
  • SEO or wider digital marketing knowledge

What you'll do

As a paid media executive, you will:

  • conduct keyword research
  • create and build search, social and display advertising accounts
  • day to day optimisations and budget pacing across paid media accounts
  • analyse performance data and derive insights about client customer behaviour
  • identify opportunities for account improvements
  • report account performance to clients
  • contribute to and support the delivery of account strategies
  • work closely with the account managers to deliver excellence for clients
  • bring new insights and share knowledge with the wider team at Storm

Over time, you will develop the skills needed to manage your own client accounts whilst assisting the wider team with their clients. This is a prime opportunity to develop experience across a wide range of advertising platforms, client sectors and digital marketing techniques.
